Bernard studied at the Royal College of Art 1947 - 50 and taught and lectured in printmaking at St. Martins’ School of Art and Goldsmith’s College. In 1998 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.

Bernard has printed with the studio for many years and we invited him to do a print with us to celebrate our 50th Anniversary exhibition held at the Fry Art Gallery in October 2008.
