Since leaving Harrow and Wimbledon Art Schools, Helen has had her paintings, lithographs and etchings exhibited at major galleries in London and in the provinces. The list includes the Royal Academy, the Ben Uri, The Curwen Gallery and Royal Exchange in Manchester. Edward Lucie-Smith, well known author of “Symbolist Art” and numerous other titles, selected work by Helen Keats for inclusion in IBM’s permanent collection. She also has work at the Institute of education, in permanent collection at the Ben Uri and in the Curwen Archives. Her work has been purchased by discerning collectors in France, USA, Germany and Israel, by bankers and socialites. Following a trip to Israel and Sinai, Helen made two original lithographs, Biet Daniel and St Catherine’s Monastery. Like many of her prints they are inspired by the extraordinary visual imagery and the stillness of the landscape there, especially so in these times of political unrest.
