Limited Edition Prints

These prints are printed from either scanning or photographing the original work of art from which a set of four colour films is then made. These films are used to make the plates. Each colour is then printed and the overall print is then reviewed with the artist to assess if additional spot colour plates are required to give the image back its depth/vibrancy. Four colour printing often flattens colours. Although these are reproductions, where possible we invite the artist to be present during proofing so that they personally can indicate which additional colours are needed. The print will not be the same as the original, as it is important to realise that the mediums of the two are very different and the image needs to work in its own right as a print.

All the materials used in making these prints are archival ensuring that they will not fade over the years.
